ihearpeoplediewhiletryingtofindthem
height , 5 ft 6 inches
weight , 122 lbs
tattoos and piercings , just her ears pierced even if she may rarely wear earrings.
distinguishing features , some of kagome's most distinguishing features are very easily recognizabile. at one time, one could easily tell it was kagome running around the feudal era simply because of her green and white school uniform. no one, besides herself in the feudal era ever wore anything like it. now that she is graduated though, kagome stays away from the uniform. she's been spending quite some time in the feudal era with inuyasha as of late and kaede has gotten her to wear the typical robes of the priestess. although on a nice spring day, you can still catch her in her futuristic clothing of her time; a spring sun dress, heels, and other such items of the like.
another distinguishing factor of kagome has always been her dark raven hair and her chocolate brown eyes. as the reincarnation of the priestess kikyo, kagome naturally had similar qualities to the woman. kikyo too had the same hair and eyes. yet even though the two looked similar, they were very different. kagome's eyes always have a sense of warmth in them, if you will. whereas kikyo's were usually bitterly cold, and uncaring. kagome always seemed refreshed, happy; and that vibrancy that seemed to dance off her really showed in her face, and especially her eyes as well as her smile. so, i believe those too are distinguishing qualities in kagome.
physical flaws , kagome is tall for a woman. inuyasha has a good foot on her, but still she does feel taller than some of her dearest friends and it bothers her now aNnd again. her arms are lanky and her legs are long. it's not a bad thing, in the feudal era.. at home in tokyo though, she occasionally will find herself standing next to a man her age and being the same height. generally, aren't the guys supposed to be taller?
another physical flaw would be her scars. she cannot deny with all that she has done in the past that she doesn't have battle wounds, because she does. on her back there are a few scarred lines from where arrows may have pierced her. on her arms some deep cuts still have left their marks as well as on her legs. for the most part they are not everywhere, but they are there, and if one looked hard enough you could easily see them.
personal style , kagome no longer runs around in her green and white school uniform. as much as she loved that outfit, she has outgrown it. after a few arguments with inuyasha and kaede, kagome was finally talked into dawning the attire of the priestess' of the feudal era. kagome looks more like kikyo now than she ever did before.
she is proud to walk around and be held in such a high manner among the people of the villages she visits. wearing a priestess' attire in these times is something close to the equivalent of ball down in her own. kagome is not always dressed like kikyo though. some days she just prefers to wear a sundress or a pair of jeans. some habits are hard to break.
weapons , kagome has been well accustomed to the long bow and arrow. it took a while to master, but kagome now is somewhat of an expert. as of late, inuyasha has also been helping her learn the skill of the sword. she has her own sword, one made especially for her in the village. it is lightweight and very easy to handle, with the arrow and sword under her belt she has become a much better warrior. she still in no way can compare to that of sango or inuyasha, but she can easily hold her own in battle.

- walking, and receiving five or six blisters on her feet every time she does.
- seshomaru, hearing inuyasha complain about him all the time had an effect on her too.
powers , her miko abilities.
strengths ,
- archery. a sword was too heavy, and everyone else had their own signature weapon. so, kagome was given a bow and arrow by kaede and ever since she's been practicing every chance she gets and i believe it's fair to say she's become pretty good with her given weapon. it also helps that she can shoot sacred arrows withe the bow and arrow too, of course.
- thinking the situation through before acting. unlike inuyasha who just runs into battle, kagome has the ability to at least think of a simple strategy first. she's not the type of person to rush into things. she's not spontaneous, and she likes having things set out before her like a plan, before she does anything rash. a quality she is still not sure inuyasha has learned.
- becoming a priestess. since she is the reincarnation of kikyo, kikyo's powers were bestowed upon kagome through her being kikyo's reincarnation. with the help of kaede, kagome has been trying to master the priestess powers once and for all. she gets stronger all the time and she learns new techniques every day. she has gotten far and has learned much in her time, even though some may think she's finally gotten it all under her kimmono she still is learning new things everyday.
- determination. if she has to do something, she'll do whatever she has to do no matter what it takes to get the job done. she won't give up no matter what. she learned that from inuyasha.
- caring personality. kagome cares for everyone. she cares more for them, then she cares about herself. if you're in trouble, kagome will go running after you, without another care or thought in the world. she'd do anything for the one's she loves.
weaknesses ,
- too trusting. kagome has such a friendly personality that she can be tricked easily into any kind of friendship. lately, she has been more up on her guard about who to trust. but still, even the kindest of people can trick and betray you. kagome sometimes falls into their fake friendships quite easily.
- coming from the present era. because she comes from a different time kagome everyday is still learning how things work in the feudal era. even though she knows the basics now, every day is still a new adventure. some of the customs she was raised with are not the same in the fuedal era. occasionally even now all these years later she finds herself talking out of turn and she must apologize.
- endurance. all the running around in the feudal era can get to a girl. she's not the best endurance wise. she gets tired very quickly and easily even from doing the simplest things. that's something she'll have to work on. she's gotten loads better, but she still finds even in today's journeys that her old friends still have more endurance than she has.
- insecure. kagome knows she is not bad looking. she knows it, but does not always feel that way. looking at some of the other women she sometimes puts herself down, not intentionally, she just thinks of herself as average. she doesn't necessarily hate herself, she's just become slightly more insecure about her body and self, really. it's all in her mind though. it is though, one of the many reasons why she does not wear revealing clothing. that and well, no one except people in tokyo would understand it.
- short temper. all the time she has spent traveling with inuyasha, kagome has grown a somewhat short temper. especially with him. why? well, how would you feel if someone constantly contradicted you all day and did things simply to drive you up a wall?
fears ,
- that the well will close one day and she won't be able to return to the feudal era or her home in tokyo.
- one day inuyasha will seriously get hurt.
- seeing one of her closest friends die.
- growing old without having children.
overall personality , kagome is one of the most caring people you will ever meet. despite all that has happened in her life, she understands a lot more then most what it means to be hurt. if you ever need a helping hand, someone to talk too, or even just a friend - then kagome's your girl. she always finds the best in people. whether they be a demon, human, or even a half-demon, there's no difference, kagome will find it. of course, this isn't true for people with personality types of say.. naraku. but, kagome still believes in the 'good in everyone' even if it is mostly everyone, and she will do whatever she can to help them and bring that aspect of them out into the open. feudal era or not.
it's been three years now since the battle with naraku. yet, kagome's cuts still haven't healed. since she's been returning more to the feudal time, she's hardly ever home. nothing can change the way her heart feels. and her heart is here, in this time with inuyasha now that she finally is with him. she misses her family from time to time, and she visits them, but her life is here now, and somehow she always knew it would be. she tends to caught off in thought wondering of her past home, family, friends and the world in general. that is until inuyasha pulls her from her thoughts with a simple questioning look to which she just dismisses the thoughts, plants a kiss on his cheek and walks away.
kagome is always going to be kikyo's reincarnation. she knows this. she also knows that kikyo was an amazingly gifted and talented priestess, something that kagome is still trying to manage to get the grasp of. little by little she grows stronger, but kagome knows she's a long way from kikyo's abilities. she has so many doubts about herself. kagome sometimes thinks that she'll never be as strong as kikyo; but there, she is wrong. she may already have reached kikyo's status even if kagome does not realize it herself.
as far as her temper goes, kagome can be pretty scary when she gets angry. even inuyasha cringes when she makes a fist and starts tapping her foot. kagome can be one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet, kind, compassionate and friendly. but if you make her mad (well, if inuyasha makes her mad) you just might want to cover year ears. kagome turns into a whole other person when she's angry. trust me, you don't want to mess with her then. any one of her friends can tell you that much. just pray you don't have a magical rosary around your neck that is commanded by her voice. that's all i have to say. but again, she's grown. kagome still has her occasional mood swings but the three year time span has dampened them. she's a lot calmer than she used to be. especially with a certain woman long gone, which was usually one of the main reasons for her anger toward inuyasha. life has calmed down as well. sure there is the occasional demon but it's nothing inuyasha and company can't handle.
kagome as mentioned, also been studying a lot more with kaede seeing as everyone isn't all out fighting demons left and right anymore. she's gotten pretty good with her sacred powers. but something still holds her back that neither kaede or her can figure out and kagome still pushes to figure out what the problem is. even though she is older and more mature - she is as clumsy as ever. just the other day she tripped over shippo and bruised her thigh. she doesn't whine about blisters on her feet anymore, and she really doesn't do much complaining at all. she's gotten used to her feudal era now and she's pretty set on how things work, for the most part. she's also grown and learned to understand inuyasha, and that is a feat in itself. next might have to be what exactly goes on in that lecherous monk's mind.
she's still as caring and kind as ever. her and inuyasha's arguing has eased some, but it's still natural for them to have a squabble every now and then. thanks to inuyasha, kagome's learned from his stubbornness to never give up. it's just one of those traits you pick up from another person after spending so much time with them. and inuyasha flaunted that trait so much that she never gives up. and which is why she still stands by his side everyday.
as for her personality, she's still the same old sweet kagome, with just one big change. she's grown up. she is no weakling. she may doubt herself from time to time but even she admits that she's come a long way from the girl who couldn't even shoot an arrow.
kagome still won't allow inuyasha to die for her. she knows that inuyasha could do the world a lot more good then she could. so, she always tries her hardest in battles to protect him even though he is the one protecting her. she is selfless and puts everyone else's feelings way before her own. she cares so much about all her friends so much more then herself it's not even funny; but that is what makes her differ from other people and so unique. she is kagome higurashi, and there is no one else like her. she does whatever she can to prove herself amongst others, to please them, to help them and protect them too. she has a heart of pure gold, although pushed the wrong way that gold could become tarnished. she's strong, and selfless, willing to sacrifice herself for anyone of her most dearest friends. you won't find another person life her for miles, or years, i guarantee it.

father , akio higurashi (deceased) - "from what i hear /b]about him, my dad seemed to be a great man. my mom has told me lots of stories about when they first met, how he proposed to her under the ancient tree in our yard, how used to play with me all the time when i was a little girl and so many more. i only wish that i could have been a little older when he was around so i'd have a better understanding of who he was. sure, i have vague memories of him spending time with me, but i was only five, i can't remember everything about him. but you can't change the past, i know that for a fact, and life takes it course and no matter how hard you try you can't change the past. my dad died of a heart attack, and i was too young to understand what 'dying' meant. i remember asking mom what time daddy would be home from work and she'd cry. it took me a while to understand, but i eventually did. well anyway, i love my dad, even though i never got to know him the way i would've liked too. i miss him, and missed having a father figure growing up. but, i did have gramps. and it was a lot better then not having any type of father figure at all."
mother , asako higurashi - "oh man, i don't know what i wouldn't do without my mama. she has been there through everything with me. i mean, she's one of my best friends. i can tell her anything and know she'll always tell me the right thing to do. from what i understand, all children share a special bond with their mothers. and i definitely share one with mine. whenever i'm upset and come home from the feudal era crying or frustrated, mama will come right to my room with my favorite dinner. she knows just how to cheer me up. i can't thank her enough for all she does for me and souta. she works two jobs, and still has time at the end of the day to come home and be super mom. i don't know how she does it, but i am so thankful that she does. i don't know what i'd do without her. i love my mama, i really do."
siblings , souta higurashi - "ugh, my little annoying brother. haha, just kidding. although souta can be very annoying, he also can be a sweetheart - he just doesn't show that side very often. it kind of reminds me of someone else i know.. well anyway, you know how brothers can be. they go through your diary, play with your make up, make a mess in your room, tell on you to get you into trouble. i'm sure you have an idea of just how crazy they can be. well, mine does all of that plus some. but, still there are days, when he's just the bit of cheering up i need. he's a part of my little family, and i love him. so even if i may get really angry when he annoys the crap out of me, he always somehow makes up for it. and i can't ever stay mad at anyone (except maybe inuyasha) for long periods of time anyway. so i love souta, he'll always be my little brother. he's doing well in school now i hear, and i couldn't be more proud of him."
pets , buyo (cat/boy/8) - "buyo. i think inuyasha has taken more of a liking to him then i have. haha, buyo used to be my cat, really. i loved cats, i never was a dog person. (go figure, huh?) and well, buyo was my little cat. a friend of mine had a litter of kittens and was giving them away because she couldn't keep them all. i asked mama and it was okay, so we got buyo! i still love the chubby cat as if he is one of the family. but he isn't as much fun as he used to be now that he got all lazy. ah well, i still love messing with him, and he's family."
history , kagome's mother, asako (mellian) higurashi had kagome in her late twenties with her husband akio higurashi. by the time kagome was born her father was only two years older then his wife. the two had plenty of money. mr. higurashi worked at the city museum just downtown as a caretaker. the museum had been passed down throughout the higurashi family and it was only natural for a higurashi to look after it. of course, asako's father, hideki (who was already in love with history and had just about any artifact you could imagine at his shrine) couldn't be happier to have his daughter to be married to a museum caretaker.
as the years grew on the higurashi's were one big happy family. eventually two years after kagome was born along came her little brother souta, but after him. mr. and mrs. higurashi had their hands full. once souta was old enough at two, kagome being four, mrs. higurashi went back to work at the museum as the office secretary. grandpa hideki would watch the children during the day and then mr. and mrs. higurashi had them by night. their little plan worked out well. and before mr. and mrs. higurashi knew it, after a few more years, they had made enough money to move out of the small apartment they had been living together in ever since kagome was born, and they could move back home to the sunset shrine, where grandpa hideki resided.
they all moved in together when kagome was five and souta was three. at first adjusting to the new home was difficult. there was so much space! but eventually everyone got used to it and the higurashi family still was as normal as ever. that is until not even a month after moving into the shrine that kagome's father had gotten a heart attack. he didn't survive. and at five, kagome had attended her first funeral. she didn't understand death too much back then. she always used to ask her mom for the first few months when her daddy was going to get home from work, and all her mom could do was cry. eventually she got the concept of what had happened. by the time she was eight she pretty much understood death. and a tight money budget too.
mrs. higurashi ever since her husband died had taken on another job besides the museum job which she now held the rank of caretaker at. besides working for the museum she worked at a local diner just up the street as a waitress. she was so busy some days she wouldn't be home until really late at night, leaving kagome to do all the chores at home. like washing clothes and dishes, helping her grandpa prepare meals and such. her brother souta also helped. he got the fun jobs of helping grandpa clean the house and yard as well as the shrine. speaking of which, growing up in a shrine where you had a crazed grandpa obsessed with japan five hundred years ago, kagome had a bit more knowledge of the feudal era than a lot more kids her age. of course, a lot of kids her age also had perfect lives and didn't have to lift a finger to do anything. they had two parents to do the work for them. in reality, kagome had one, and she realized just how much her mother did for their family and never really ever asked much of her.
in school kagome kept her grades up. she was always trying to be involved in everything at school. she especially enjoyed the clubs and activities her schools offered her. she liked being involved and having something to do. she knew she had responsibilities at home with chores, but whenever she asked her mom about joining choir or attending art club her mother never minded.
she made many friends in school. three friends she would have forever. eri, ayumi and yuka. she met her friends in elementary school and ever since they've been her best. they did everything together. gossip about boys, play at recess, do each other's hair, have sleep overs, walk home together and hang out at one another's homes. you name it, they did it. the four were inseparable. even when middle school rolled around, kagome and her friends still stayed close. they may have even become closer! it was late in middle school that kagome began to realize that something was missing in her life. she missed having that father like figure and to be honest, she was missing her mother a lot too seeing as she worked two jobs at this point and was very busy. in the transition between middle and high school, kagome began asking her mom about her dad when she got the chance too. this was something that neither kagome or souta had done before. and of course her mother knew this day would come, and happily she told kagome all about her father's and her own pasts together as a couple.
kagome remembered her dad, she did. it was hard to remember what he looked like sometimes, but there were always the few photo albums lying around the house containing his pictures. she remembered him and her playing in the shrine yard and him teaching her how to ride a bike. him playing with souta and one time sticking his diaper on back wards. just little memories that had stuck out against all the rest. those are the one's she remembered. a lot of times her friends at school would ask when parents were supposed to come out to events and help why her grandpa was the one one who came. she hated to tell the story over and over, but she wasn't a liar. of course every time she told it, she got the same reactions as always and then she'd get the whole sympathy act which she hated more then anything. kagome never liked taking charity and sympathy from her friends and she still doesn't.
in her tenth grade year of high school, kagome was fifteen. she still remembers that fifteenth birthday like it was yesterday. on her birthday her cat buyo ran into the ancient well in her yard. she ran in after him, not wanting something to happen to him. she followed him to the ancient well and reached in and grabbed him and pushed him out the door. just as she had turned around to follow after him though she was pulled by a centipede demon through the well. instead of just being pulled into the bottom of the well, she was taken five hundred years into the past, to feudal japan. on her first few minutes of exploring the new place she came across and man, that looked like a dog, ears and all, pinned to a tree by a single arrow. later she found out that this was inuyasha, a half-demon. she also noted that the tree he was pinned too was the same tree in her own yard at her home at the shrine. the man didn't look dead, there was no blood. he appeared to just be sleeping. but before she could inspect him any longer she was carried away back to a village by an angry mob and brought before an old priestess names kaede.
this kaede recognized her as the reincarnation of her dead sister kikyo. and was shocked by the fact she is from the future, and how she could come through the well. the centipede demon returns to the city and to kagome, wanting the sacred jewel that had been reborn inside of her five hundred years in the future when she was born. kaede pieces together this puzzle, explains it all to kagome that she has the sacred jewel inside her and that demons will come after her for it. then hearing this, kagome went to free inuyasha, he was in charge of killing the centipede demon. after he did, he tried stealing the sacred jewel for himself. and that's when kaede placed a sacred rosary around inuyasha's neck allowing only kagome to command him to 'sit!' every time he did something bad or wrong (like trying to steal the jewel) - exactly like a stubborn puppy.
later kagome learns the full story of the priestess kikyo, and how she was her reincarnation. she also learns about inuyasha and kikyo's love history. in the beginning, everyone often mistook kagome for kikyo; they looked so similar it was astounding. inuyasha especially kept calling kagome, kikyo. of course kagome would simply say sit and the matter would be handled. eventually after that first day, more demons showed up and the shikon jewel of four souls that was reborn inside kagome was shattered into dozens and dozens of pieces all over japan. knowing what had happened was her fault inuyasha made kagome his permanent 'jewel detector' seeing as kikyo's priestess powers were also passed on to kagome and she could see the shards inside a demon's body.
the two traveled together for a long time collecting the shards to piece the jewel back together again. along the way of their journey they make new friends, and long life bonds are made. they met miroku, sango and shippo along the way, who became their traveling partners, but inuyasha and kagome didn't just make friends, they made enemies too. a half-demon named naraku had a whole list of demons at his command. and he was always going after kagome and her friends trying to capture the shards that they had, but thankfully, a demon slayer, half dog demon, fox demon, and a monk with a wind tunnel in his right palm were always there to help back her up.
everyone had their abilities and slowly kagome began to grasp her own. she became well equipped with a bow and arrow. she learned to put her sacred powers into her arrow and was able to shoot purified arrows at demons. a lot of times, combined with inuyasha's tetsuaiga's wind scar their combined effort was enough to take down most of naraku's most powerful demons.
eventually, kagome found herself growing attached to the stubborn jack ass, known as inuyasha. he would constantly protect her from harm. at first, he didn't want to lose his jewel collector, then he was doing it more often and kagome couldn't help but wonder why. he even started to let up on calling her kikyo and began to talk to her more civilly. she noticed a big change especially when the wolf demon kouga came around and would always be flirting with her. inuyasha would automatically send him away with a new bump on his head saying he couldn't stand to see the wolf breathing in such close proximity toward him, but was that the real reason? what was kagome supposed to think? she'd go back to her time, and find inuyasha some times following her back. he'd sit outside her window on her house all night, thinking she never saw him - but she did. she knew he still loved kikyo, whenever she came around everything else had to stop and inuyasha was hot on the trail to find her. leaving miroku and sango to well, do whatever and kagome to sit there in denial and pretend like nothing at all was wrong. eventually she found herself growing jealous of kikyo and would always try to make the best of her and inuyasha's time together. she ended up loving him. she couldn't help her feelings. of course every time someone would bring it up, she'd turn red in the face and simply deny it even though everyone that asked knew it to be true.
time passed, and eventually almost all the jewel shards were collected. after some very heated battles, soon enough the good won in the end. it was a tough trial, but the jewel shard was eventually restored to it's rightful manner and then destroyed no longer to be used for evil or good again. so, life in feudal japan finally went basically as much back to normal as it ever would. of course demons were still around, but they were nothing compared to naraku. and inuyasha was always there to lend a hand, after all he loved a good fight. everyone never really let their guards down. always cautious even if they moved on with their lives.
now that three years have passed since the death of naraku and vanishing of the jewel, miroku and sango have become married with three children, shippo has become a fine young man (like kagome had hoped) and inuyasha and kagome were finally together, kagome could not be happier if truth be told. it was all she ever had wanted.
just as kagome was getting used to naraku's death and her spending more time living her life the way she should be allowed, news has begun circling through kaede's village. people are saying naraku has returned.. but how can that be? kagome was pretty sure that he was dead, she had watched him die after all. there was talk of stronger demons, powerful gods, enemies arising from the dead and she was sure it was only a matter of time before inuyasha and her were going to go investigate the matter, she only hoped the people could have heard wrong.

If there was one thing Kagome hated more in the world then Naraku, it was trying to study for exams. Mid-terms and Finals were coming up for her first semester term and she was no where near ready for any of the classes, except maybe the one in history class. Inuyasha had made it imperative that she needed to spend some time here too, and they had a deal that the week of her exams (in two weeks) that she would go back to her own time. Until then though, Kagome took every free minute she had to study when nothing at all was going on. Just like she was planning to do tonight.
It was around nine o'clock telling by her watch. The moon was out and it was late. Kagome was exhausted, but she had to study. Today an angry snake demon came and ravaged the forest holding the bone-eaters well and the sacred tree. Kaede couldn't handle the demon on her own, and luckily Inuyasha, Kagome and everyone was just stopping to visit anyway. Inuyasha took care of the demon in no time with a little help from everyone and as always Kaede had thanked them. If there was one village that was always safe it was the kaede's village. Inuyasha always somehow came in the knick of time. Even if it was only one demon, needless to say everyone was quite tired. Sango, Shippou, Eri and Miroku were asleep near Kaede's and Kagome was sitting just outside the house with her back against a tree and a flashlight in her hand and a math book in her lap. Truthfully she didn't know where Inuyasha had run off too. But what mattered to her now, was Trigonometry. Trig was probably going to be the hardest exam of them all for Kagome, and she wasn't going to sit around tonight without getting any studying done now that she had a break.
Yawning, Kagome turned a the page and rubbed her eyes. She was reading so much the words were beginning to jumble together. Ugh, maybe she should give up for the- "No! I have to get through one chapter at least!" Determined, Kagome sat up straighter and dug her nose even further into the book then it was before. One hour later and all she ended up doing was drooling on a pentagon she was supposed to find the surface area of. Kagome was asleep, and she was dreaming too.
In her dream, Inuyasha had run off after Kikyo, but this time, he didn't come back. Kagome thought about it, but decided to let it slide. The next day he didn't come back to camp, neither the day after that. The third day Kagome left Sango, Miroku and everyone and went to trail after him. Somehow, she just had an idea of where he would be too. In less then a day she found him at the sacred tree and he was with.. Kikyo. They were sitting and talking, but as soon as Kagome had appeared Kikyo pulled Inuyasha's face to her and just like once before had forced Kagome to watch as Kikyo tried talking Inuyasha to coming with her into the underworld. Kagome screamed out to him and tried to move, but she was frozen in pace. This time despite how much she called to Inuyasha, it didn't matter. He was willingly going with her and Kagome could do nothing. Just as Kikyo pulled him father and farther down the hole she turned to Kagome and smiled wickedly 'I told you to leave him alone, I told you to leave this place! You do not belong here! Go home! Look at what you have done to him now! You do not belong here! Go back to your own time!' And like before, she was pushed down the well.
Kagome woke with a start and was breathing heavily. Sweat was beaded all over her face and her eyes were teary. She'd been crying, her voice was even a little hoarse, had she been screaming out to Inuyasha? Inuyasha! Where was he? Kagome looked back and forth. She sat up and her math book was flopped over on it's side the pages bent in all weird angles, but that didn't matter. She slowly caught her breath realizing it was just a dream and relaxed leaning back against the tree again and pulling her knees to her chest. "What a nightmare.." She muttered, as the thoughts lingered back into her head. Did the dream mean something? Did Kikyo have some kind of influence on it? Or.. was it all in her head? Kikyo wasn't like that anymore, was she? She's changed, and she just wants to get Naraku as much as everyone else, right? She didn't realize it, but Kagome was still crying. Feeling her hot tears on her knee, Kagome wiped her eyes with her sleeves. What was she going to do? This was the second time in the last few days that she had this dream; was it a nightmare? -- or did it really mean something?
Letting her head fall into her lap, her hair fell around her face. Anymore of these dreams and she'd never want to sleep ever again. Just as she had calmed down she thought she heard a stick crack in the back round. Great, now what? Kagome sat up and tensed. She reached for her bow beside her, but it wasn't there. It was in Kaede's house. How could she have been so stupid? Clenching her fist Kagome stiffened her body, whatever or whoever it was, Kagome was in a bad enough mood at the moment to be disturbed. They were in for a handful if they tried anything with her.
